It was December 2023, right after Erin finished their final exam of graduate school when Joseph took them on a festive date before doing a couples photoshoot together.

Since Erin is a photographer they were excited to be in front of the camera for once with their favorite person.

They strolled around the place where they spent their first date (at that point 9 years prior)...Madison Square Park.

With a Christmas tree and the Flatiron Building in the background, Joey got down on one knee, and unsurprisingly, Erin said 'Yes!' while passers-by cheered.
